April/May 2005
Damn we're good. Only few weeks after Rok's announcement that he's leaving the band, we are up and running with a new guy on the guitar. His name is Blaz Kavcic and he will also play on our gig on 1st May - the festival Born to be Wild. He learned the material for this festival in just over two weeks and it's a blast!.
March/April 2005
Unfortunately only four months after the full line-up was built, Sweet Sorrow once again get one guitarist short. Rok realized that he can not commit 100% to the band, due to his other commitments (work, school and others). We nevertheless remain good friends and he will also play all the comming concerts until we find a suitable replacement. Rok also promised he will help teaching the new guitarist the music we made and played together.
January 2005
We start this year with the best wishes to all our friends and fans. As a special gift you will find on our Samples page 5 songs off of our Official demo. Hope you will enjoy it.
November/December 2004

September 2004
On Friday 16.9. concert in Trzic we will introduce our session guitarist for the first time. This is Jan from Negligence, who was more than helpful to fill the place of missing guitarist after Sims left the band. I hope you will be happy with this replacement and give him a warm welcome on stage.
August 2004
Few days ago Sweet Sorrow camp got the message from Sims, that due to his forthcoming obligations he decided to stop actively playing guitar. Yesterday after the practice we talked about it and came to a consensus that the last thing we do together is the gig at Metal Camp.
Bufo, Pero, Rope and Us respect his decision and wish him all the best in achieving his future goals and will remain friends
We are already practicing with a session guitarist for the coming gigs.
At the same time we are inviting guitarists who would be interested in filling the void in Sweet Sorrow to contact us on us@sweet-sorrow.com.

On a lighter note it seems that Us has almost fully recovered from the traffic accident.

Us, the bassplayer of Sweet sorrow has had a bad motorcycle accident and the band's future shows are questionable due to his injury to his neck, shoulder and right wrist.
We'll keep you informed what will happen.
June 2003
In the beginning of this years summer break from concerts and rehearsing (due to holidays) the guys are preparing their practice place to stage a pre-recording demo creation. There are 15 songs to be taped and tested how they sound and what is to be improved.
On the funny side of things - as we changed drummers at the end of last year, some may remember that Ales fell off the bike in the summertime, that caused us to drop few concerts from our schedule. Rope - our current drummers fell off the bike last week while comming to the practice. Fortunately he wasn't injured hard and only has bruises and scratches on his right side.
April 2003
The guys stood strong through their first test abroad. Performance in front of 500 strong crowd on the big stage of Orpheum Graz was more than successfull. They played 4 songs as a part of the newcommer festival.

Short time after writing down this update to our band, Valentin got in the band as a new singer.
December 2002
The guys are reporting that they have a new singer. Boris, who successfully passed the audition is in process of learning the songs. He'll join the band for the first time on stage 6.12. in Celje, where he'll sing 5 songs with Sebastijan
Members of Sweet Sorrow are announcing that there will be major changes in the bands' line-up. Reasons why some of the members will leave the band are different and not really important. The important thing is that all of you who helped or followed us, know that we part on friendly terms and in consensus. This decision started to form a while ago, but we had open commitments and engagements that we had to finish together.
We are happy that we end our journey together with a line of concerts through November and December, and finally also in Maribor.
Sebastijan, Ales and Ziga wish all the best to Pero and Us in finding our replacements, new blood, concerts and a new recording company.
